Life’s an awfully lonesome affair. You come into the world alone and you go out of the world alone yet it seems to me you are more alone while living than even going and coming.

well poor old Emily Carr. not had a good life then. Perhaps she should tune in to the magic of the world through your flower 🙂

Beauté de la fleur. Trop triste la solitude!..

I know this quote is true for many people, Sherri, for whatever reason(s). Your Lensbaby image is a perfect juxtaposition for the emotion Emily Carr emotes.

A buttery smooth photo of the golden blossom. Love it.

Lensbaby is an interesting tool. Softness, when used creatively, can lead to s bloom like this one.

That is beautiful use of the Lensbaby. As a monochromatic image, this truly stands out. The quote by Emily Carr, though, is hopefully not how many of us feel. It’s a little sad when loneliness becomes life. Or the other way around.

This is a gorgeous image. The close up of the flower is just stunning. I love the color and the focus. The quote leaves a lot to think about.
