Oh, my ways are strange ways,
and new ways and old ways,
and deep ways and steep ways,
and high ways and low.
I’m at home and at ease on a track that I know not,
and restless and lost on a road that I know.

A great feeling of emptiness and solitude
A long, long road.
another great scene Sherri… the picture gives me the feeling to drive into this image just to see what is around the bend….
my favorite way is when i get lost… it’s surprising what to find all new things that i would have missed otherwisee….peter:)
Beautiful leading lines captured in this composition! One can hear the crushing gravel under my feet as I walk along this drive.
I like the muted tones, especially the greens. The sky looks like newsprint that has gone through the presses between cleanings.
This is a splendid image. A beautiful winter scene with the overcast skies. Beautifully composed with the curve in the road. I love it.
i like the gritty look and feel of this image, Sherri.
Don’t you just LOVE all that negative space to traverse across!
Toute l’immensité voulue avec la place donnée au ciel cette route en courbe ces poteaux superbe
Belle journée

The text of Henry Lawson and the photo fit exactly together, very well done.

A study in gray. Nicely done.
