may you grow around the barriers, and find an open door
— i said that
May the dreams you are dreaming in a warm soft bed,
and may the voices inside you that fill you with dread,
make the sounds of thousands of angels instead,
tonight where you might be laying your head.

That is a really nice shot.
Life provides many barriers. You just have to work with them.
Great photographic example for your wise proverb!! 🙂
A beautiful image. I love the colors and textures. I like what you said! It is something good to live by.
I really like the image and both quotes.
I don’t think there is a barrier to climbing ivy. It will grow up, through, around and across anything. The limited vines on the bare wall make a nice composition.
A pretty shot of the ivy creeping up the wall.
A very nice image – an even better quite by you…
Ce deux conduites avec leur bouchons et sa couleur rouille ce lierre qui pend et les embellies sueprbe
Belle journée
La nature reprend toujours le dessus. Magnifique composition.
In another couple of years, that outlet will be entirely hidden!
Un magnifique détail ! j’aime beaucoup
Nice hard light and interaction of nature with the hand of man (or woman for that matter 🙂 Although having said that Ivy is one of the banes of my gardening life
Superb framing !
The image truly gives a visual to your words.
You said that well, nice photo as well, fine details as well.
Water, her, will always cross the barrier , lovely pinky shot, Phil
i have no doubt that the ivy will survive the barrier of the fire hydrant Sherri… but it will get a trim now and then to keep the hydrant visible….peter:)
Hey sherri — havent been blogging in a while, nice to see all your new posts — and new logo? Looks great 🙂
Tout beau chère Sherri, superbe photo et citations! Bise, bon mercredi dans la joie!
Leave that to the ivy )
I like it, I like the colors and the choice of the frame, I wanted to publish something similar.
