Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Brian O’Driscoll said that
Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

Cute quote to accompany this great macro! As a child I always thought the tomato was a vegetable. The drops of water make this look so refreshing.
A fabulous quote! This is a gorgeous composition. Beautiful detail and color and wonderful processing. I like the background.
Ooooh wonderful image! Great DOF & Clarity!
Bientôt de belles tomates bien rouges.
The promise of ripeness to come. There is nothing quite like a freshly picked tomato
way ahead of me again. Mine are just flowering 🙂
yes. fried green tomatoes, like the movie. a favorite dish in the southern part of the USA.
my personal favorite is pickled green tomatoes with a bit of hot pepper spice.
Great framing and beautiful green .
Great quote. Your tomatoes are further along than mine.
A excellent quote, a beautiful matching photo with great details.
Nice to see is the exif.
That is fabulous. .Our tomato plants need lots more time to start producing. Good things come to those who wait.
After all that (image, quote and comments), I now wonder if you like fried green tomatoes, Sherri???? Wouldn’t they be just wonderful any day now!
There is such a fresh feel to this lovely close-up, sherri
So fresh to see
A lovely view
lol that quote lol
you know the picture almost reminds me of a very close macro of a green bug!
interesting.
another funny quote! good one!
Excellent close-up of these soon-to-be-tasty fruits. Your inclusion of the EXIF data is interesting, but it does not explain the map almost subliminally blended into the plant shot. Perhaps it is delivery instructions for when the green turns to red.
Jolis fruits qui bientôt vont être dégustés en légumes…. J’aime beaucoup.
that’s a cute quote. I adore home grown tomatoes. I love the smell of the leaves when pressed between my fingers. My mom taught me that.
Wouldn’t it be lovely if most of the residents in the background image also grew their own tomatoes? That’s what people used to do.
