They say a picture is worth a thousand words. To me, a picture is worth a thousand memories; for when all is said and done, it is the memories that last forever.
– Jeffrey A. Goodman said that
image notes: the mini cooper dealership in Little Rock opened in 2014 and closed in 2018. the company purchased the property and built the building and now it’s sitting empty. after they closed, we bought a 2019 mini cooper countryman and named her Tory and not as a term of derision, but out of pride for our British heritage.
this one is mine
Jolie présentation de ces photos, j’aime le bourgeon qui annonce le printemps.
A nice combination of old and new here! It shocks me that the dealership closed after being open such a short time. The bud makes me yearn for Spring. Have a great weekend!
I used to drive the original Mini Coopers , and owned 4 over the years. I now drive a BMW mini, but not a Cooper. Goodman was right about memories
Some pictures really ARE worth a thousand memories, Sherri. And some of them also elicit a blü mood. YAY for your British heritage. 🙂
So many pictures are about memories. The Mini is still a successful car here. I had one of the original minis in 1968!
now, i LOVE LOVE your creation, but you have caught my attention with the mini lol i am sooooo jealous!!!!!!!
Congratulation with this beautiful `big` mini
In the `90 I had the (little) mini ones
It’s great, little story – just like the car – you present here in photos and words. The quote by Goodman is spot on.
i like the way you mounted the “blü.Mo.oD” Sherri…
my son has a four door Mini Cooper and just loves it….peter:)
A neat image and memories. Love the license plate.
Interesting quote — I can truly relate especially having written a post about that recently. I really like this pair of photos and how you’ve presented them. Love the plate on your Mini 🙂
i like the presentation on this post, Sherri. mini is one of my favourite cars.
4 Years is not long, but you have a very nice car and indeed typical English.
the dealership photo is a fine testament to your personal selection. the bud is confusing; my first glance was a giraffe head but on second glance it is clear. all budding life seems to struggle through an ugly phase before achieving its selfdom
Superbe image dans l’image et très belle présentation fantastique
Belle soirée
Les photos ne sont que des souvenirs en fait !… Magnifique ta présentation.
