I love the muted colours and the feeling this is printed on linen
A beautiful image. Lovely shades of green and the detail of the flower is superb.
Beautiful verdant shapes and tones that accentuate the flower’s colorful presence! So well-composed!
Beautiful! I love the colors and shapes here. The DOF is superb, too.
Wonderful composition for this delicate bloom.
Such beautiful tones and composition!
I like the soft green leaves that cover most of the frame, with the bud and bloom as nice off-center relief. did you put a subtle linen texture on? I think I can almost see a bit of a weave.
Our garden has given us unimaginable solace over the last few years when we really needed it.
That is a lovely image.
What a gorgeous image Sherri. Next to the flower that looks like sage leaves. Oh I love sage — to look at, to touch, to smell and to cook with 😉
I think Ruskin’s point is a fine one.
il y a ici beaucoup de douceur
You do these so well, Sherri!
He is wrong about their intention but right about their effect. I’m also unsure of what ‘ordinary humanity’ is 🙂 Nice image
With this button there is hope for spring
Yes, re. the role of flowers. I miss them in the winter. You have a gift for the right quote.
A gorgeous photo with all those lines in the photo and the beautiful sharpness on the flower.
I like the softness and the pop of color
i’m not sure that ordinary humanity would even notice the flowers 🙂 at least not with the loving care you do, my dear xoxox
Un avant goût de printemps.
