our mums are confused by our well-balanced rains and temperatures. they’re blooming like they do in the autumn. i didn’t have the heart to tell them it’s june and i didn’t have the heart to cut them back.
“A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.”
i don’t know who said that
A nice dip in a field of flowers! !
I love purple mums! What a pretty point of view this is.
A fantastic photo with fine focus work.
Beautiful blooms accompanied by many buds to provide future blooms! The DoF works really well here.
Excellent use of DoF. You also used a good point of view, getting the lens right down there with the flowers.
So very nicely done. You certainly have the eye.
My wife had a pot full of mums that died off at the end of last fall. She put it in the garage to wait until spring to plant something new. Before she got around to it, the stems and leaves had reached 6 inches and were sprouting buds. We now have a pot with a couple of dozen golden blooms.
if you plant it in the ground, it will come back every year and it will multiply also. the plant you have must be very hearty so it should do well in the ground.
Gorgeous colour Sherri
Une très belle prise, des fleurs que j’adore et la couleur est merveilleuse.
I really love your POV for this photo – and the color is so pretty! Nature sometimes doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing… but she has secrets!
the flowers are very happy!! I wouldn’t want to cut them back either… such raucus joy… how do you spell raucus? lol
what a gorgeous forest of mums. I believe they’re singing. Yes, singing praise.
I’m not so sure about your quote, we have some real thugs in our garden 🙂 Lovely viewpoint and colour palette
Magenta is such a luxurious color, Sherri, and your eye-level view of these beauties is exquisite.
