I seem to recall a mention of that from when it happened. Good grief, the poor thing got clobbered!! Despite the misfortune of this incident, I have to say I love how the colours complement one another and with the obvious amount of rain, you’ve sure captured the essence of the storm.
Oh heavens. I hope the damage wasn’t too great. Only you could turn this into a superb image!
she was completely totaled and i couldn’t find another mini cooper countryman within 500 miles because production was shut down at the time
Oh, that had to be a heart-wrenching discovery when you came out to see your Mini buried under all that debris. I am impressed that the hood of the car withstood so much of the tree’s weight. An excellent documentary shot.
Oh my goodness…. Poor Mini… and poor you! At least you weren’t in it at the time, I suppose.
oh!!! that would sooooo break my heart!!! you and i seem to have the same taste in cars….
a few weeks ago, my MORTALITY hit me like a ton of bricks and you know what i thought of?
that i still had not bought a mini cooper and that i may exit this life NEVER HAVING ONE, and it hurt
i’m so sorry that this happened to your baby car xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Oh, how awful if you find that on your pretty mini.
It must have been a total loss and then that hassle to replace it, it always costs you extra money, time and a lot of effort …. grrr
Bitter… and it is only a small consolation that you managed to create a beautiful image
Oh no, I am so sorry! I hope that no one was hurt. What a mess between the car and the tree coming down on it. I am so sorry that the car was destroyed. You develop a relationship with your car. I am always sorry when I get rid of one or in this case lose one.
My neighbour’s car got nailed by a tree. A total write-off.
That is a sad but strangely beautiful shot. Mother Nature is fighting back all over the world.
Very annoying to lose your car like this.
Are you insured in America against storm damage and in this case your car!!
Oh, OUCH. I can imagine how this hit your hard, Sherri, even if you know it’s just part of the “stuff.” Did you replace it with another mini, I wonder?
A crushing experience 🙁
