The places we have known do not belong only to the world of space on which we map them for our convenience. None of them was ever more than a thin slice, held between the contiguous impressions that composed our life at that time; the memory of a particular image is but regret for a particular moment; and houses, roads, avenues, are as fugitive, alas, as the years.

A beautiful composition with a FENCE LINE that emphasizes the grade of the rolling lands!
A very lovely image, Sherri!
the little bit of color and the fuxxiness of the foreground grass add to the charm of this shot.
To be where there are farms, Sherri, is like going back to our primordial selves, I think. My sister always says The Farm is in our DNA. I believe her because seeing an image like this evokes a deep emotion inside me.
A lovely watercolour feel to this sherri
lovely!!! i always like the simple, sublime, and space of the sky above!
why must the memory be regret? I think not. Some memories can be cherishe, amusing and/or uplifting. Nice landscape
£$%& that should of course be cherished
A very beautiful composition . It is true the memory of places is a whole and particularly related to emotions

Lovely treatment!
I enjoy the dark fence and barn anchoring the composition. The other colors seem much more subtle but are beautiful, too.
Oh this is so very beautiful
Like this one a lot: the composition, the simplicity, the shapes.
Am enjoying scrolling back through your images.
