it rained and it rained and then, it froze, and then, it snowed and it snowed
The rain began again. It fell heavily, easily, with no meaning or intention but the fulfillment of its own nature, which was to fall and fall.

This has been a familiar sight in the UK this winter. Rain and floods and in some cases the floods froze when it snowed as well!
Looks like a catastrophic event that likes to repeat itself to the disdain of its residents. Great documentary shot. We’re digging out of a major snowstorm.
The world is being bombarded with excesses more and more.
I really love this lovely image and for me I can’t help but focus on the soft subdued tones especially that sky.
You’ve made a wonderful shot of some simple puddles!
Yes, that looks good wet !!
An atmospheric photo with a nice depth and reflections in the rain puddles.
The quality of mercy is not strained.. it falleth like the gentle rain from heaven….. Shakespeare said that 🙂
wouldn’t it be nice to be like rain?
i love love this picture!
Way too much rain! A beautiful image though.
Too much water.
The ground here has been saturated since last October with the water table right on the surface even on the hills. The climate extremes we are undergoing are profoundly disturbing, This road is nicely awash though
the snow seems gone, but it left a big puddle behind
What a perfect image of what the rural land looks like at such a time, Sherri. You sure know how to nail it.
