great find and nice photo of the rust and fading/flaking paint
Yeah, we all need more sugar.
I love the photo.
Well, now you’ve got me heading in to find the old left over Halloween candy!
Great shot – love the commentary!
Superbe ancienne enseigne. Bien vu.
A fine old advert. This is a brand we never had over here in England
Très belle cette prise
I imagine this old sign has a story to tell.
Superbe, quelle belle prise! Bise, bon jeudi dans la joie!
I think it probably says “Rich in dextrose” – nice find!
Well seen , your image is a candy, Phil
I think they might be past their sell by date 🙂
Superb framing and textures .
What an abundance of texture, great capture Sherri.
When I was in Junior HIgh I was called Baby Ruth and RuthieBar due to this candy. NOt the best of memories associated with it
I love the vintageness of this old find!! Great capture! It reminds me who was the original maker of Baby Ruth before Nestle bought Curtis. Curtis used to have this huge neon rotating sign along the Interstate in Chicago where they also made Butterfinger. Thanks for the memories.
I like this image together with the commentary.
i like that aged text, Sherri. nice photo of it.
A pretty shot of the old sign that still looks good for its age.
Such a great old sign! And a great candy bar even though I have not had one in years. I do remember them as a child.
aaaah organic chemistry 🙂 did you study quantum mechanics? i loved quantum mechanics back then, but now i would rather have a baby ruth 🙂 xoxox
Quelle ancienne affiche et rendu superbe

Sugar overload..
Beautiful textures.
Très belle photo ****
How times change. In my parents ‘day’ mother’s filled empty Coke bottles with sugar water and fed this to their little ones. I was one of them. No wonder I disliked candy as a kid! I had enough sugar water 😉
oh and I must say I also really like the photo
