I think I know exactly where this was photographed. 🙂
Beautiful stately trees that stand out nicely against the sky! Nice reflections as well.
I like the B&W. The reflections are beautiful.
Sometimes it helps to tilt the head, so I get the quote, Sherri. 😀
A soothing photo in fine monochrome with nice reflections.
Lovely tones!
Very beautiful composition and a great atmosphere .
it’s a wonderful photo of the creak handling the spring runoff Sherri….peter:)
I like monochrome and this is very pleasing. Serves to remind me I don’t do enough myself!
A gorgeous image in splendid grays!
Lovely B&W landscape with a grand sky.
A beautiful black and white image landscape image. Wonderful sky! A great quote by one of my favorite photographers.
I love the greyness of this image that give it the feel of a Stieglitz landscape.
Beautiful.
I like the faux tape edges. Cell phones take such nice photos nowadays
Jolie vue sur ce plan d’eau.
nice limpid light and tones in this placid scene

Une photographie est faite selon son instinct d’observation. A chacun de nous départager.
He’s right really. Though, we all have preferences or often we have an idea what we think a setting looks like until we see the actual image. Being primarily a street photographer, Winogrand would have been especially sensitive to capturing life exactly as it was and leaving it so. I find that most of the notable street photographers feel that way.
I love the sky and reflections in particular though I really like your creative way of featuring this image including what almost appears like meandering footsteps along the one side.
