Artists can color the sky red because they know it’s blue. Those of us who aren’t artists must color things the way they really are or people might think we’re stupid.

I like your emphasis on the solitary tree, backed up by its kin in the background; and the muted colours

A beautiful composition with the silhouetted trees against the sky! And I love the wispy clouds which give a sense of dynamics to the sky. What a tranquil place to be!

Lovely image – so peaceful. However, even photographers can colour their skies red if they wish 🙂 http://tomwilson.shutterchance.com/theme/1-all-themes/image/2010/01/01/tyne-bridge-newcastle-upon-tyne/

Nature’s beauty is such that as photographers we can but capture a moment of it. Lovely landscape with an enchanting sky.

A gorgeous winter landscape. I love the browns and blues. I always find bare trees in winter to be beautiful. I can imagine that this same field is totally transformed in spring, summer and autumn.
