A very nice montage – you made good use of some broken things!
Margaret Mitchell! I wonder if that was in her Gone With the Wind??? In the meantime, I’m working on piecing together the “broken” parts of this collage.
sounds like she is not really talking about pottery, rather than a marriage in the wake of an affair or something like that… nice collage tho! well done!
Your images and the collage only show that sometimes something broken can actually become more than it was whole.
A great collage put together here, highlighting your theme.
A good collage

i like your collage Sherri… from the art to the flower…and the broken things….peter:)
Jolis montages de choses variées attrayantes.
A lovely montage.
the pieces of this post fit together in a neat rectangle, but the tones and the subjects do not (to me) comprise a coherent whole
Nice images.
on odd occasions the mended item can be more interesting than the original
The words carry more meaning by seeing your collection of images.
I just love your new website header and background. I know I’ve mentioned it before but it really makes me feel good when your page loads.
The Japanese have a term for things that are made more beautiful in the mending or that are in need of being mended — Wabi Sabi. I’ve always loved that idea.
A fine picture and a great quote to go with it Sherri
Superb presentation !
I do agree, and like your selection
