A great moment in time captured in this ancy girl! I love her animated expression. We had a parade cancelled due to extreme heat today.

A lovely, little moment. I can really feel the heat. The subdue colour palette underlines the feeling. Great quote by Dorothea Lange, by the way.

We have some big parades here and they marshal in along our street and the next few streets so we get a sneak preview. The best time to have grandkids visiting.

Reminds me of parades we viewed when our son was young. I like the little girl hurrying the parade on, and the father’s protective hand on the other child.
