    the land is flat and undeveloped…. open, perhaps zoned as flood plain. So the scenic puddles are part of the natural order of things.

      actually, it’s pasture land for cattle, but they were moved to the adjoining field because of the encroaching waters and the swelling creek

    That is a lot of flooding. I hope that there was not a lot of damage. It is a beautiful scene.

    We have been suffering floods over here in England, too. But they do add interest to a landscape, as in your lovely photo

    We have quite enough water over here. The ground has be been completely sodden for a month . You capture it nicely here though. I hope you had your wellies on 🙂

    The abundance of water on the farms is well photographed, fortunately the cows have a piece of dry grassland again.
