Antisthenes says that in a certain faraway land the cold is so intense that words freeze as soon as they are uttered, and after some time then thaw and become audible so that words spoken in winter go unheard until the next summer.

    You’ve captured the flower of the lamb’s ears so uniquely, with plenty of negative space to really keep out focus on its upright glory. I love what you shared about words freezing. I’m not at all familiar with Antisthenes but am quite intrigued.

    The B&W can evoke cold, like winter. The words give us context. Beautifully done.
