The colossal misunderstanding of our time is the assumption that insight will work with people who are unmotivated to change.

A nice old station and caboose. A nice glimpse at small town America. So many of these places have dwindled to almost nothing.

the faded hues are appropriate for the image which could be straight out of any decade from world war i to today

A nice charm to this small town view! I can see where the quote relates to this photo well.

Is that why so many are destined to repeat the mistakes of history, Sherri?

I used to search for insight, until i figured out that my subconscious mind was running most of the show and had a totally different agenda!
I like the treatment of this picture!

This typical old american train station is beautifully photographed together with the old wagon.

i like the old fashioned look to this image, especially with the water tower and railway wagon, Sherri. i like the apathy in that quote.

Love the fade colours and the big, open sky. It’s like a time capsule from long ago.

great image of the old train station Sherri… i remember the years when there was a cabooses on every train…
it took a long time for the railroad companies to get rid of the people who were working in the cabooses because of strong unions…
the next move that they are trying is to get rid of the engineers and control the trains remotely….
my brother Bob was a railroad engineer for 30 years… he had retired about ten years ago….peter:)
