It does indeed look dilapidated, you have portrayed it well photographically.

Cell towers and communities’ decisions to allow carriers to locate them in certain areas has really cluttered skylines. Thankfully, many collocated on that one tower. 🙂

I have driven by that stand of dilapidated tenements many times. My wife is from Cincinnati, and we pass there on our way in.

I don’t really get the quote. It doesn’t quite add up to my mind. Complexity and evolution go hand in hand as do decay and regeneration. An interesting mish mash of ingredients in this image

The light creates a depressed mood. Captures the essence of the words.

Well shown, Sherri. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how much of America really IS in decay. I wish there were constructive ways of dealing with the challenge, especially with the infrastructure!

this is an amazing picture to me… the sublime retro looking colours and the slightly soft focus… that’s the kind of picture I aspire to, but don’t quite know how to achieve.

There is much urban decay in the UK too. This is a good picture of the process

There is something strangely beautiful about urban decay. And somehow you made a captivating image of maybe not the best face of urban civilization.
