      yes, i recall long, cold winters growing up in Ohio

      for all practical purposes we are experiencing Spring now in Arkansas. we may have a cool snap here and there, but some cool weather vegetables have been planted, trees have leaves and Spring flowers are in full bloom. in another week the early flowers will be gone.

    Purple Irises are one of my many favorite flowers. I have lots of them planted in my yard. I like the way the words and the image speak to each other.
