Such a lovely way to describe spring and reawakening. This is a beautiful image! Yesterday my crocus started to bloom.

An intriguing shot, with the blooms in every state from bud to wrinkles, the background also walks the edge of beautiful and distracting.

yes, i recall long, cold winters growing up in Ohio

for all practical purposes we are experiencing Spring now in Arkansas. we may have a cool snap here and there, but some cool weather vegetables have been planted, trees have leaves and Spring flowers are in full bloom. in another week the early flowers will be gone.

The color is lovely and shows only a hint of the exuberance which is to come.

I like this show of “ages of Iris”. Here are still days for this bloom.
A nice picture with a good focus too.

Des iris à différentes stades… de la pleine maturité jusqu’au plus fané.
Une couleur dominante que j’aime beaucoup.

Purple Irises are one of my many favorite flowers. I have lots of them planted in my yard. I like the way the words and the image speak to each other.

Very beautiful blue tones on this iris flower! Even the wilted ones are pretty as they are messengers of spring!
