a flower does not think
of competing with
the flower next to it.

it just blooms.

i don’t know who said that

Perfect visual poetry, even without the text. Love it.

I’m not a person who has ever embraced competition, though I’m definitely a person who strives to do my best at anything I tackle.
I always love your touch with using textures. I hope you continue to do well.

a nice capture of the flower spike, though the quote doesn’t convince me as the flower’s sole purpose is to attract a pollinator. As in all reproduction thinking is not really a part of the process, it’s more hard wired than that 🙂

i like that thing that nature does Sherri… the blossom’s petals are offset to guide the rain water down to base of the plant….peter:)

I was on a business trip with a salesman one time, and as we walked into the client’s building, I stopped to look at and comment on some newly blooming spring flowers. The salesman replied, “Harry, it’s the flowers job is to be beautiful. Your job is to help me sell this computer. So let’s get at it.”

I like that grungy, blurred texture you have applied behind the bloom.

I love it. Especially with the glistening droplet that is almost hidden at the top.

Magnifique capture avec la gouttelette. Les fleurs ne se font pas concurrence, elles s’éclatent du mieux qu’elles le peuvent.
